In all honesty I've never looked at the work of Paul Smith, never been inside his stores or felt inspired by his collections, I've never really noticed them. Learning of how he collects objects and is an obsessive hoarder I looked at his website and blog... I never realised how interested he is in art, how he literally does find inspiration in anything! He has a mystery sender, from whom he has received objects with stamps on them for years. These are the kind of things that inspire me. With easy access to the nottingham store I will be taking a look as soon as possible.
